This book has allowed me to begin a task that I found very daunting previously. The writers, Pratico and Pelt, have made this edition perfect for beginners pursuing biblical languages, helping them build grammar and vocabulary while expressing how powerful such knowledge can be if used well. So far the book has been a 5/5. . . thanks!

Excellent books

The book is very thorough and excellent material. I feel that I will know most all of what I will need to know when I am finished with the workbook that goes with the book. I ordered both as well as the laminated chart and am very happy with all that they entail.

Helpful introductory grammar

I am using this for my seminary course (Hebrew I). The grammar is structured such that one only gets to verbs after one covers nouns, pronouns, adjectives etc. This means that one is only able to start reading the Hebrew text later on in the process. In other words, hang in there!
