Unexpected
I knew when I bought this cube that this wasn't a normal master skewb, but I wasn't ready for the weird turning of this cube. It will surely be a fun solve. The turning is very good out of the box.

Great interesting puzzle (spoiler free review)
I really like this puzzle! First off, note that this is NOT the same puzzle as a master skewb. It looks identical but turns and solves differently. 4 corners turn with shallow cuts, and the other four have deeper cuts that turn like a master skewb (as well as trivial tips). This is a moderately difficult puzzle that has elements of many other corner turning puzzles such as a skewb, dino cube, rex cube, FTO, and even pyraminx and master pyraminx to some extent. After a little effort, I was able to figure out how to solve it. I can now solve in with a couple different methods. After playing around wiht it for the first 15 minutes or so, I had a major realization about this puzzle (although it still took much longer after that to solve it). I won't go into details on what this realization was or how I solved it. If you want that you can go on Youtube and find a tutorial. I'd say this is basically the same difficulty as a rex cube or FTO. It's not a puzzle for someone brand new to twisty puzzles. If you're comfortable solving other mid-level non-WCA puzzles, this should take a bit of thinking but not be insanely difficult. In order to solve this, you need to know how to solve a dino cube and a skewb, and be comfortable with basic 4-move commutators (A B A' B') and conjugates/setup moves (A B A', where B is usually multiple moves, and A sometimes is). You don't really need to come up with any of your own algorithms, or use any 8 move commutators. Turning quality is perfectly adequate for a non-speedcube. The puzzle has no issues with turning as long as you're not trying to speedsolve it.

Would recommended for experienced sovlers
This can take a bit to wrap your head around just how it moves and what puzzles it can be reduced to -- it's not intuitive at first but once you start diving into it and figuring it out it's a very rewarding solve. I'd recommend this to anyone who has experience with a bunch of other non-WCA 4-axis and 8-axis puzzles. If, however, you just learned to solve a skewb and are looking for something "just a little harder," bookmark this one and come back to it later, get some experience with a rex cube and maybe a master pyraminx or even an FTO and then take on this one — this one is the kind of puzzle that I think you're going to enjoy more if you're able to come up with your own solution rather than falling back on a tutorial. Turning quality is good. It'll catch at times but nothing that should impede your solve.
