Mothership Board Bag

This is the bag EVERY paddle board should come with

I was expecting A LOT out of this bag based on some reviews I saw online (from people reviewing Hydrus boards). Bag materials are premium and durable...even just the lining is better than the bag that came with my Amazon board. I recently got a nicer board second hand without accessories but it did not fold compact due to it's large fin box. Enter the Mothership...no other branded bag fit my board comfortably, but the Mothership swallowed it up and still plenty of room for the paddle, pump, and some other accessories. I love the amount of organization this bag has. There's a pocket for the fin, external pockets to put things like keys or wallets. It has a paddle strap if you want to carry it outside the bag. The feature I love the most is grab handles on EVERY side of the bag. Think about how you load and unload your bag from your trunk or cargo area...you're picking it up by various means and this bag has a handle right where you're looking to grab. The only "knock" on this bag isn't even really a knock. The backpack straps are so well padded that they make the bag a bit bulkier if you're stacking multiple bags in your car. Not sure if I can knock that...but I use the backpack straps sparingly so it's not as important to be that padded. But I bet people who carry their board on their back will appreciate it. This is one of those products that you truly appreciate how much thought and design that went into it and I know I'm being efflusive with my praise, but it truly has impressed me...and I have lots of quality gear bags from brands like Osprey and The North Face.

Hydrus Mothership

This Hydrous Mothership ISUP bag holds my 34 inch wide paddle board with a little extra room to spare. The quality of materials and construction are much appreciated. It was not easy to find a bag big enough to hold my board. I'm glad I found Hydrus!

Fine, though concerned about stitching quality

The bag mostly is what I expected, but there is a velcro internal pocket that is mis-stitched and so the velcro part just pulled right off the first time I used it. The size is good good, although I wish it had some internal straps. I am replacing a different bag that tore at a seam. I hope the rest of the stitching is better than that velcro attachment.
