Ferrari Twin Lever Adjustable Easy Corker

A bit of hit and miss

As this is my first time using a corker, I rate the Ferrari corker's construction over the cheaper twin lever models, as you can adjust the plunger depth of the corks. I presoaked my corks as that is what was recommended by the company who supplied them, I then corked 24 bottles of wine, some of the corks stood a few millimetres above the top of the bottle and most were pressed about 1mm below the top of the bottle, I think with practice it may get more consistent or it may boil down to finding the ideal cork, I used agglomerated corks which were the recommended size for the bottle's I purchased, I might try a different cork next time, but I am happy with how the corker performed and would recommend it.

No idea - it was a gift

I’ve no idea how good it was as I bought it as a gift. The recipient was very pleased with it so I guess that’s good.
