What A Steal!

Thank You Mr. Misen for your pricing on this discontinued chef's knife; $49 is truly a steal & worth every penny. This knife replaces an 8" Wusthoff that's about 10 years old and pretty banged up. Your knife was truly a revelation to open and begin using; the balance and slightly heavier weight vs. the Wusthoff is impressive. I much prefer my new Misen to any of my three Wusthoff knives that I own. Warning: be very careful with this knife as it is VERY sharp! My only gripe is that I wish the high end cutlery manufacturers would include some type of knife sleeve with the shipment. Nevertheless, Misen has created a loyal lifetime customer with this purchase.

Best knife ever

I own several of these Misen knives in different sizes. They stay sharp and have a great feel in the handle. Makes it very easy to cut chicken cutlets very thin. The best part is their customer service department. I contacted them on a Sunday afternoon and had a response back within 3 minutes. That’s incredible. They answered all my questions and fulfilled all my needs within 10 minutes.

I’m not a professional chef, just a retired woman trying to learn to cook better. This is my first misen knife but I love it and would like another one for smaller items.
