Good looking, good working...
Our experience with our kids belts has been good. We purchased 3 of the for Christmas gifts this year. All the ratchets work good and our kids (6, 8, 10) seem to have gotten the handle of how they work with the release button just fine.
In our estimation they are maybe a bit pricey overall (this would probably keep us from buying more than one for each of them), but still overall we're quite pleased with what we got.
