This is the only blade product I have tried with regards to a beard detailing blade. I have found it to be satisfactory and it does a good job. I have not found a need to try other brands with respect to a beard detailing blade

The blades are decent but the Merkur detail razor is just ok. I found to make it work perfectly I used an old blade, cut off the cutting edges and shimed the new blade to create more space. It is now perfect. Nathan was kind enough to give me a shavette in lieu off. A generous offer. Thanks Nate, great shop you have there, and great help there too. I enjoy each and every visit. Merkur Detailing Razor… my secret weapon

You know when you thought you just had a great BBS shave and then you noticed you missed a tiny spot? Well the Merkur Detailing Razor and blades are the answer. They are great for small pick ups and that spot you always over shave because you can’t get your DE to mow it down. Also, I can get 7 shaves from one blade. Maybe more but the dice I use to track blade usage only has 6 sides.
