Excellent figures, but not cheap for two crew members

These Accurascale Hunslet Austerity Industrial crew figures are very nicely done. The detail, proportions and poses look excellent, and they should add a lot of character to the cab once fitted. They are full-colour 3D printed, so no painting is required, which is a real advantage. They also avoid the bulky or toy-like look that some crew figures can have. At £12.95 for just two crew members, they are not cheap, but the quality is clearly there.

Excellent industrial crew figures

These Accurascale Hunslet Austerity Industrial crew figures are excellent. I bought them to go into some of my industrial tank locomotives, where the cab area is visible and a good crew makes a big difference to the finished look. The scale looks spot on. They do not appear oversized or bulky, which is a problem I have had with some other crew figures from other manufacturers. These look properly proportioned and should sit naturally in the cab. The 3D printed detail and colour application are very good, and they look sharper than many traditional painted crew figures. At £12.95 for the pair they are not cheap, but the quality is there and they add a lot of character to the locomotive. At the moment I have only photographed them in the packaging, but I will be fitting them later and may update the review with installed photos over the next few days. Based on the quality, scale and finish, these are a fantastic accessory.

Another fantastic crew for the forthcoming Austerity, top marks to Accurascale & Modelu for continuing to produce pre-coloured well-proportioned detailed figures in realistic poses and not overly bright ‘toy like’ compared to some competitors. Skin tones are now more vibrant than initial crew releases and white beard on driver very well defined, love the bald patch on the fireman!.
