Getting Started with Willow Course and Kit

I very much enjoyed this experience. I'll try the simple basket next! I would love if there were more instruction about actually handling the willow: what I'm supposed to do to keep it from breaking (my biggest issue - is this just that I need practice or is there something wrong) or if sometimes it kinks when you weave a thing and that's ok. Maybe some close pictures to show what's normal?

I have not started the newest kit yet because I was working on other projects. Here is one of your baskets I did complete. I have never woven with willow before so it was challenging and it has many flaws but I plan on using it to pick my garden vegetables this summer. I am looking forward to starting the other kit soon. I ordered 3 kits for me and two friends. They came quickly and we were anxious to get started on the lovely projects. They had some difficulty getting into the videos but were directed by customer service to get in and watch the instructional videos. We each soaked our willow for approximately 7 hours and put them in the soak bags with damp towels to ensure proper hydration. Unfortunately, all of the willows we attempted to wrap with snapped. Each of us tried multiple willows and ALL of them snapped. we now have to come up with something else to wrap with - twine or leather cord or something like that. Which defeats the purposed of the kit. Very disappointed about that.
