I haven't been able to wear earrings in 25 years! I saw this on a whim and said It can't hurt to try. Worst case I know the outcome. I could have cried when I put them in. It was such a wonderful feeling few hours later and no ear swelling and pain. I can wear earrings again. This for me is a huge confidence booster for someone with low self esteem.
