Lamy Safari Shiny Black Fountain Pen

My third Lamy Safari

As a new fountain pen enthusiast, I started by purchasing a Lamy Safari. I now own three, all with fine nibs. This last one I purchased with a Lamy converter and a bottle of Monteverde ink. Very smooth writing, comfortable to hold, with a durable body and clip. Also love the ink window which shows the ink level. Would definitely recommend!

Lamy's wide variety of nib sizes has made me a huge fan

I bought this in a 1.1 mm italic nib and absolutely love the appearance of the text it produced. Like all Lamy's this a comfortable, well-balanced, well-priced pen. If I was going to gift a fountain pen to a first time user it would absolutely be a Lamy. The shiny black with the silver clip is an understated look but this pen is a keeper.
