ESU 50012 ECoSBoost - Brilliant for Larger Layouts

I have quite a large layout and bought the ESU 50012 ECoSBoost to power extra areas and keep voltage consistent across the system. It connects neatly to the ECoS via ECoSlink, provides 7A output, and helps divide a layout into proper power sections. In use, it works extremely well. Power delivery is stable, running is consistent, and it gives real confidence when operating multiple locomotives with sound and lighting. It is expensive for what is effectively a booster power unit, but it is a brilliant system and a very worthwhile addition to a larger ECoS controlled layout.
