Essential accessory for model railway maintenance
The ESU 41010 Loco Cradle is a must-have accessory for any serious model railway enthusiast. It safely and securely holds OO gauge locomotives while you work on them, fit decoders, service them or carry out general maintenance. It is far better than using improvised foam blocks or other makeshift solutions. The ESU cradle feels properly designed for the job, protects the model well and gives you confidence when working on detailed locomotives. A really useful feature is the magnetic strip in the middle, which holds small screws safely in place when removing bodies, fitting decoders or servicing locos. That is a big plus, as tiny screws are very easy to lose. For the price, it is excellent value and one of those accessories you quickly wonder how you managed without. Simple, practical and absolutely brilliant.

As you would expect from these guys, it’s a quality product well thought out. Great for holding a OO gauge Loco for maintenance work or simply adding additional detailing. I have not used it as such but I suppose there’s no reason you could not use it on your other rolling stock for cleaning and detailing purposes.
