Another Awesome Book

Fatal Fury: The Ultimate History continues Bitmap Books' high quality work. The artwork is beautiful, the info. is interesting, and the overall presentation is just awesome. I love the respect that is shown to Fatal Fury in this book, again, as Bitmap Books does with all of their books. Another job well done.

Amazing product.

I'm a big SNK fan, and this book made me really happy. I'd like to highlight a few areas that I especially liked. The map at the start of the book is an awesome detail that gets you immersed in South Town immediately. The deep dive into the history, including Fatal Fury's relationship with other series such as Art of Fighting and Street Fighter was a great read, and I learned many interesting things from that. And finally all the info on Real Bout: Dominated Mind was a great read. I always wondered many things about that entry and the book was very informative on that. The only thing I would have liked , and this is more a nitpick than actual criticism, is having the voice lines on the outside cover be from more iconic characters. I feel like Franco Bash, Bob Wilson and Hon-Fu, while classics in their own right, could be swapped out for Yamazaki, Krauser, Billy Kane, or some characters from Mark of the Wolves. Even in this aspect, there's a good thing to say: DOUBLE REPPUKEN!

A must-have for fans of SNK and/or the Fatal Fury franchise. It features an incredible number of illustrations covering all the way up to the latest installment, City of the Wolves, plus insights into the series’ evolution. Sure, you can find these illustrations elsewhere, but with this high-quality book, you’re holding the very essence of Fatal Fury art in your hands!
