American Sycamore Tree

Great tree so far

Expected lot more "tree" for aprox $140. Im not thrilled to receive trees that have been grown in low light in order to make them "stretch" (grow taller) the tree is easily 6 foot tall but the trunk is #2 pencil thicknes bottom to top. The same amount of money would buy you a Sycamore tree with a 2" thick trunk, and 10 to 12 feet tall fully branched & way more mature. Didnt even come with a stake to use when planting as the first heavy wind or thunderstorm it will be broken in half. Very dissapointed, esp after spending easily $7000 this year on trees for our landscaping from Fast Growing Trees. Some plants are great others look like you got the last "Charlie Brown" tree before them going out of stock. Not a single hardwood branch, just a few 3 incher green growth from this year. What 6 foot tree could you imagine being grown in a 5 inch nursery container? This tree is a $35 tree at most!! Not aprox $140. Another online nursery sold #5, 6-7 foot Hybrid Poplars 5x15=$35 shameful 😞

My Sycamore tree is doing great!

I ordered a 4-5 foot American Sycamore tree from Fast Growing Trees, and I'm glad I did. I was in need of a tall shade tree and the spot gets 6-7 hours of sun a day. It arrived in great condition, other than a little tired from shipping. I was impressed by the size and quality of the tree. The branches were well established and spaced. I planted it the day after arriving. It's been about a month now and it has already added 3 inches of new growth! I'm extremely happy with my Sycamore and look forward to the shade it will provide. Thank you for a wonderful tree!
