Redbud Tree

The tree has been doing very well, but deer keep eating the leaves every time new ones appear, so I bought fencing to wrap around the top of it, like I did with the trunk. Hoping I get lots of new growth for the next few months or so before it settles in for autumn.

It is doing well so far. The leaves have the best shape. I will say the delivery driver may have mishandled it a bit and broken the top, but not enough damage to hurt the tree. Overall it’s been great. I also appreciate the trunk protection included since my landscaper killed my cherry tree with a weedeater. Lesson learned. ❤️

Trees arrived in great condition, one tiny upper branch was broken but I may have done that unpacking. Two latest redbuds are doing great. Last season’s redbud (different kind) has grown tremendously. I am very happy with all the plants I have purchased. The selection is amazing.
