Absolutely wonderful and entirely necessary
It’s been a long time since we had any fresh Boards music but patience has been more than adequately rewarded. This set is instantly timeless and futuristic whilst being very rooted in 80’s and 90’s synth/electronic music. It’s so deliciously textured and evolving but never too crowded or over-egged. Easily a contender for album of the year, probably straight into ‘all time greatest’ status for many listeners, me included. Take time to drink the whole thing in obver multiple listens. It’s worth it.
