Yame Saemidori First Harvest Matcha (50g)

I first became interested in matcha from Yame after trying a sencha from this region, which I found broth-like, with a rich aroma and deep umami with no bitterness. This matcha is the precise embodiment of that experience. It is supremely easy to drink and works very well as an usucha, with sweetness and freshness that are allowed to come forward. It was worth the wait!

It's still be my favourite matcha.
