Just as expected - a fantastic guitar

Already have an OM2 CE from Richards, so knew exactly what to expect, and that's what I have - a terrific Eastman guitar. Plays and sounds like a dream - it's all I need.

First Acoustic Guitar!

I found Richard's Guitars online after looking for guitar buying tips on the internet and Youtube. I'm a complete newbie to the Guitar and wanted some good, honest advice about what to invest in as a first purchase. My budget was around £500. I wasn't originally looking for an Eastman, but that was one of the recommendations that came back from Richard's Guitars. (The online chat feature has been a really useful feature). After much debate I narrowed it down to the Eastman E1M and E1OM, but opted for the OM as the mid range and higher end was really punchy and crisp without being too dominated by the lower register, and I also like the finger picking style which this guitar is suited to. The guys at the shop spent over an hour with me talking me through the options, and giving me a demonstration of each guitar (as I couldn't play a thing). There was NO pressure, and the guys were SO helpful and generous with their time and patience in answering my multitude of questions. The guitar itself was a E1OM classic with a gloss finish, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Delivery was quick (4 days), and the after sales follow up has been great. Thank heavens that Guitar shops like Richard's Guitars as the service and support has been second to none. It gets played every night (albeit quite badly), but I'm happy to take that journey with such a lovely guitar. Thanks Guys. Phil C.
