Festival Home Brew Beer Kits

Disappointed

I’ve always admired FESTIVAL for their challenge in taking on such an overwhelming task to replicate foreign beers where their, sometimes, overwhelming promo’ is sufficient to convince me to make a purchase, but now, with hesitation from disappointing results, I think I’m going to give this brand a miss. The quality of the product is excellent, and so is their “rules & regs” but somewhere down the line, a fault shows up, typically, a day or two after adding the yeast where on a few occasions, the brew has pushed up through the lid….my God…this is gonna be a fine brew, only to be disappointed with zero reaction on secondary fermentation in the barrel.. …..flat as a pancake! I manage this event, reluctantly, with a bit of dirty brew tech! Comments on other brands I have taken up with the manufacturers directly and always had understanding results…Warren

Festival Kits

I've been using Festival kits for a few years now and they're very good. I've tried most kits and they're all excellent and easy to make. I used 'all grain' brew but I find Festival kits just as good and a lot easier.
