Lots of lint
I was surprised and disappointed by how much lint there is in the roving. If I am able to process it out, I can get a yarn that I like out of it and I didn’t find it too slippery. However, as a cellulose fiber I was expecting to make fairly slick yarns as it is described as silky, but the yarn is very bumpy because of all the weird chunks of lint. When I try to get all of the lint out it wastes fiber. I will maybe try carding with high you hand combs to see if I can get this nice.
