Daily Protective Serum

Fantastic product! The consistency is thin but the coverage is excellent. I was very skeptical of a sunscreen because they always seem to clog my pores and leave a greasy film. Mad Hippie Daily Protective Serum vanishes completely and makes a perfect base for a tinted moisturizer. This seems to act like a primer for me, as it helps my tinted moisturizer to stay in place better yet doesn't feel like a layer on my skin. I've never been much of a sunscreen user but now I find myself reaching for this every day!

New go to sunscreen!

I absolutely love this serum mineral sunscreen! It's true to It's name with a serum consistency + texture and it applies so evenly. I'm light skinned and it doesn't appear to leave a white cast. When first applying, it seemed it may leave a white cast but blended in. Curious if it reacts the same for darker skin tones. Definitely recommend this product and plan to keep this as one of my staple sunscreens. I wish the SPF was higher and do wonder how much of the serum or layers I should apply to ensure it's doing its thing. The bottle is easy to keep in my bag to reapply but I do usually layer another sunscreen on top of it. Mainly for the extra protection but currently have a sunscreen to give a "glow" effect and the 2 sunscreens do well with each other. No piling etc. Cocokind and Mad Hippie have become my must haves in my skincare routine. Thank you for making amazing products, having generous sales so those of us can afford to keep restocking and the one time I chatted with customer service to help me with a product reaction issue; they were incredibly kind, professional and understanding. Felt so spoiled and appreciated the info they gave to help me understand the 'why' to why I reacted. Was incredibly helpful because it taught me not to mix 2 ingredients that don't always do well.
