Surpassed my expectations

I own the Neo Geo book already and knew it would be of a high quality but the breadth of this book well surpassed my expectations. I am a bit of an enthusiast for odd input devices (both for games and computers) and there is a wide spread of them here. I am only deducting a point as the scope was kept to "generic" controllers, so there are no steering wheels/car pedals and light guns here. I would have liked at least a comment on those because they are relevant to the stories being told (e.g. mentioned with regard to the NegCon), and because there are some game-specific controllers in there too.

Consistently Awesome!

Just like any book I've ever bought from Bitmap Books, this was an amazing purchase! The packaging and shipping are always amazing. The book is exquisite - incredible photography and beautifully crafted. The pages are heavy duty and give the impression of lasting a lifetime. As long as you're interested in the content of any Bitmap book, there's no reason not to get it!
