These run one size small

As noted on the product page, these run smaller than other fabrics of this style. I took a lucky guess, they run exactly one size smaller than the other pairs I have. Also, this style is well-designed for those of us with relatively slim hips, not for curvier wearers.

Changed the cut and now I can’t even get them buttoned.

I’m not really a huge fan of skinny jeans, but U.S. doesn’t offer many choices for longer legs, so I purchased 2 pairs a year or so ago. They were lovely and stretchy. Yes, the ankle could have been tighter to make them true skinny jeans, but otherwise they were perfect. However, this new pair, with their true skinny leg also apparently comes with the expectation of me being skinny: no extra room in the tummy, no give in the waistband. Online ordering really requires consistency in sizing. I’m bummed and I don’t have pants to wear.
