StowAway® 3700®

Perfect size

I have been looking for consistency in boxes for the rear storage location on my Nitro Z18. These boxes fit perfectly in the slots provided with room for 1 inch plano 3600 boxes in between them. Inexpensive, solid construction with perfect labeling locations on the edge. Size and functionality are just what I was looking for with space to double my storage.

Using this StowAway and liking it!

I was not sure of these boxes at first, but bought one with an account credit to try. I like that they are still pretty light, and the opening is easy, though I’ve heard to make sure it fully latches. I reached out to customer service for an issue and got a great response. Made in the U. S.A., I expect these will last years. I think I need some of the waterproof boxes, too.

Awesome so far

I appreciate the new design and am transitioning all my tackle from 5 older 3700s to eight new 3700 boxes. Guess I’ll need to buy more tackle :-))) So far, the single-handed latch works well, and the label zone works perfectly for writing with a Sharpie. I cannot yet comment on the rust reduction compound. The grey plastic seems nicely stiff, and the movable dividers are plenty and fit tightly. That should keep smaller hooks and bits from migrating between compartments. Ironically, when transferring much tackle to the new boxes, I chose to keep my main live bait box in its old 3700, thinking it might be advantageous to keep the small stuff in the transparent box. Well, that same morning one of the two old latches of the old live bait box wasn’t completely secure, and when waves caused the box to drop to the floor, hooks, sinkers, and small bits were scattered in the boat. You can bet that I will transfer the bait bits to the new 3700 next time I’m out so that I have the security of the new latch!
