subtle but lovely upgrades. Right away, the case is heavier than the first generation. I’m guessing this is due to more magnets in the lid. To that end, the lid has a much tighter hinge and indicates no risk of flipping open. The original didn’t flip open either, but it feels like it could. The case is also shorter and narrower than the original, but doesn’t feel like it’s sacrificed any meaningful space
