Black Bliggity Black!
I loved this candle. I say loved because I burned it all day, everyday for four days and now I’m afraid I’ll burn my fingers trying to light what’s left of the wick. LOL! The scent reminded me of weekends growing up in the salon or in the kitchen getting my hair pressed, flinching from hot comb steam. It reminded me of good smelling, cleanly dressed black people. Clothes pressed, hair freshly washed, and scalp Blue Magic down! Those smells that make you remember the good ol’ days before social media and insta anything. When things were peaceful. The Black candle was definitely a welcomed treat during this fonky lil lockdown. I’m excited to slow down and submit to nostalgia again over another candle!! 😍
