pretty
I grew 18 of these Dwarf Mix strawflowers. The range of colors was beautiful and there were lots of blooms. The plant heights did vary considerably, ranging from 12" to 24" so the strawflower bed was a mishmash of sizes, though it still looked pretty nice. Unfortunately, in late summer several of the plants, mostly shorter ones, just decided for no reason to die. That was very disappointing and left holes in the bed. The remaining ones have lasted now into the cool fall weather and still look nice. I basically was happy with them and am looking forward to planting strawflowers again, but I think I will try other kinds next time. In the photo (taken in late July) the strawflowers are in the back by the fence.
