Kelloggs Breakfast Tomato was new to me this year. I tried to used the Florida weave method to support them but that didn't work well. These plants are very rambunctious and send out sprouts every which way. The fruits finally started ripening in August. Many of them were huge, two pounds or more! A number of the fruits were misshapen and scabbed, some grotesquely so (see photo), which made slicing them more complicated. The flavor was pleasant and mild, and the flesh solid but juicy. We ate them fresh and also froze a lot for use in chili and soup. There were a lot of green fruits on the vines when frost threatened, so this fall we ate a lot of fried green tomatoes. Overall we got a huge harvest. If I grow them again I will probably build some kind of tall sturdy cages.

Kellogg's Breakfast Tomato
I actually plan on using it next year since the season is already under way. The other seeds are also slated for next year. But I will definitely succumb to your catalog again because you are so terrific! Thank you.
