Different and enjoyable

I only recently began reading in this genre, thanks to a Jane Badger post shoeing up in my timeline. Most of the books I've read so feature 14- or 15-years olds who arecesger and ambitious. In this one, Gemma is 18 and it's her mother who has all the ambition. This gives a very different dynamic to the story, and one that's highly engaging. The ebook is good quality and very affordable, too.

Engaging read. Found myself rooting for the heroine!
