DPD damaged it
The cake was delivered on time, but the driver had the box under his arm on its side. He took no notice of the arrows on the box.
The diver wasn’t bothered and drove away even though he was asked to wait until the cake had been checked.
The cake was damaged on one side which we managed to cover with flowers.
The cake itself was lovely and the guests enjoyed it.
Maybe a different delivery company would provide better service?
