NBR Rubber Watch Strap - Orange

Wonderful colour- but some personal reservations

Wonderful colour, matches my Pacific Orange MOA-5. Great feel to the rubber and appears to be very well made. However, I don’t think the polished stainless steel strap fittings match the brushed steel finish of the watch. It might sound strange, given the orange strap / orange watch combo, but I find it too blingy. The strap is excellent in that it has sufficient holes to allow the watch sit very comfortably on my very thin wrist - in fact there are three more holes to go However, the problem is what to do with the excess strap. I’ve threaded It back on itself and tucked it under the metal loop next to the buckle, but the looping bulges a little and the final effect is an untidy look and a number of ‘catch’ hazards. The double thickness under the watch creating a bulky topside appearance that I mentioned in my earlier review of the watch has ceased to bother me. However, I am not sure of the durability of the relatively thin rubber. Whilst time might tell, I have an orange rubber conventional Hirsch strap on my Fortis Flieger, and I think I will go that way with the MOA. I think this would be a better strap for someone with bigger wrists.
