Foot Tangle

I bought this leash thinking a calf leash will help me from getting tangled in it when walking back and forth to the nose of my longboard. This has not been the case. I have actually stepped on the cord of this thing about 1 or 2 waves per session. Tried to give it a chance and did about 4 different days out in the water with it. Going to go back to my normal ankle leash and keep this one as a back up. Note: I do not blame any of this on craftmanship of the product.
