First, only use this with a hospital bed with railings. This was money well spent and has made a huge difference in healing her bedsores. Five firmness settings, and as I said, whisper quit, easy to set up. Just to note, any person is hard to move on an air mattress, even using the slider sheet method. Great price, great product, arrived quickly.

After a rocky start with a shipping delay, Vive came through and got the mattress pad to me on-time. I ordered this pad for my 94 year old mother, who is paralyzed on one side and confined to her bed most of the time. Turning her every two hours was difficult, so this product makes it much easier on the caregivers by alternating pressure on her skin. It is also very comfortable for the patient. I was concerned about noise, but the motor is so quiet that you hardly ever notice it.
