Nautical Top & Removable Collar 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

The pattern is very cute. I made the first one according to the directions, but wasn't pleased with the results. The top was too "unstructured" and didn't lay well. (The fabric was cotton and should have laid just fine) The second one I made a lining for the top and it worked terrific. It lays very smooth and well on the doll.

Good. I just had to add 1/2 inch to the front panel and then it fit Chatty Cathy perfectly.

Nautical dress extra pattern

The dress pattern came with the nautical top pattern. I made the dress and it was very easy and fit well. However, I did not add the dickey. The dress came up enough in front that it was not needed.
