Bland and nondescript

I purchased a few Detour coffee varieties a few months ago including Like A Rembrandt. I have tried various ratios and grinds using my Origami pour over dipper. The coffee is so “meh” with no distinctive notes or flavour. I even tried to mix it in with another roast just to use it up but it muted the overall flavour. Unless I’m doing something wrong with my brewing method (I’ve made pour overs for years) I would not buy this roast again. It’s going into the garden soil just to use it up.

Worth the wait

Very uniform bean size and very evenly roasted with perfect packaging. Five stars for workmanship. Slightly more citrus than I care for but other strengths make up for it. Since nothing can be perfect for everyone, score is 4.5 stars.
