Golf Pride grips were great- the grip tape was not

I ordered 13 Golf Pride MCC+4 grips, and a package of pre-cut grip tape. The order was shipped quickly. The grips are great- Golf Pride quality. However, the grip tape was lousy. Of the 20strips I ordered, 3 wouldn’t stick to the club shafts at all, and 3 clubs had to be re-gripped as the grip tape didn’t keep a bond. I’ve had years experience regripping clubs- this was a first bad experience for me.
