Heater Gasket Teflon

It's an upgrade from the original gasket and works perfectly. In fact I was able to reuse it for the 2nd installation of the heating element. I performed a major teardown and rebuild a few weeks earlier, then the heating element died. I tried using the just recently used Teflon gasket a 2nd time & it worked perfectly, although I had to retorque it using a small battery operated impact driver & a 1⅛" socket. You gotta love having accumulating tools for 55+ years! Chris Coffee always has what you need, typically the new & improved items like this Teflon gasket.

Chris Coffee seemingly was the only one that had this upgraded Teflon heating element gasket available. Since it's so hard to source I bought 2, just in case! I bought my Isomac Tea espresso machine & my Mazzer Mini grinder from Chris Coffee in 2001 & the support I've received thru the years has been outstanding. We discuss what it's doing or not doing, the parts are shipped & if I run into trouble Chris Coffee' service department has always guided me thru the DYI. I've never had to bring my machine in for service which is huge as repair shop will run easily between $250-$700 per visit, which is why most replace their machines every 5 years on average. Espresso machines appear intimidating at 1st, but once you get your feet wet a couple of times you soon gain the necessary confidence, of which I never would achieve without the awesome support of Chris Coffee. For decades Chris has worked with multiple manufacturers to guide them to vastly improve their machines. That speaks volumes!
