This model is just so good. The weight, the finish and the smooth and very quiet running make it special. The sound is so clear. Really glad to have bought this Hunslet.

One of the best sounding models I have to date

As a non-DCC operator I've been reluctant to fork our for sound-fitted models as my early experience was less than impressive. I ordered this as a birthday present (for myself, obviously) after watching (and hearing!) a video of the sound-fitted model. Comparison with an early Bachmann 20, well there is none. The sound is louder with much more variety and that "spluttering" you only really get with an 8 cylinder English Electric K series at full chat. At the moment, there is only one other model type in my collection to match it. But that's another story...

An unusual and good looking loco with great sound

I was unsure whether to buy this loco as I’m not really into Northern Ireland railways however I’m glad I did as it is worthy addition to my layout. The sound is superb as is the detailing and paintwork on the loco. I am very pleased with my purchase
