Velvet Eyeliner: Black

I really wanted to love this eyeliner because I love Gabi, the channel, and the overall presentation of the product. The packaging was beautiful, and it felt very high-end when I opened it. I also loved that it came with an angled brush, which made application easy. The black color is rich and flattering, and it glides on very smoothly. Unfortunately, it just didn’t perform well for me throughout the day. It never seemed to fully set, and I ended up with raccoon eyes from smudging. When I tried setting it with eyeshadow, it still transferred and seemed to settle into the fine lines under my eyes. I have dry skin, so I was surprised by how much it moved on me. I wanted this product to work because there is so much to like about it, but in the end it just wasn’t the right formula for me. I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

This is the most beautiful eyeliner I have ever used. It glides on like a dream, and can be smudged out for a softer look. I love the brush, it's perfect, and so convenient to have in the same pencil. I have sensitive, very watery eyes and have no issues with this liner at all. Using an eye primer and setting the liner with powder shadow as Gabi suggested really helped with longevity. The sharpener is incredible as well, perfectly sharpens the creamy, soft liner, without any waste. Simply amazing!

Love these eyelinibg pencils. They apply so smoothly and look gorgeous. So wonderful for mature women. Can't wait for lip pencils to come. Thanks Gabi
