75 days. One of the darkest pigmented kale we offer, Darkibor is also one of the curliest. These gorgeously ruffled plants are perfectly suited for late-season sowing. The quick growing plants hold well in the field for extended harvests.

Near the first and last crop from my garden
In NW Iowa I start these in my greenhouse in early April, transplant out a few weeks later and am able to start harvesting tiny leaves in just a couple weeks later. They keep on producing through the summer and well in to the fall, handling serious frosts. A fantastic vegetable that keeps on producing.
Our favorite recipe is to chop into bite size pieces and then toss with a very hot dressing to slightly wilt them, delicious!

Great kale 👌
Darkibor and redbor are two of my favorite kales. Very easy to grow and cold hardy. I have kale all winter long in NC. My chickens love it too.
