Musical masterpiece now in masterful sound

The experience was fantastic! I bought this album many ages ago while I was still in high school, and treasured it from the moment I got the shrinkwrap off the 33 1/3 LP. It was demanding but rewarding listening then. Kind of like listening to Bach fugues except I was listening while "Bach" was composing the fugues in front of me, in real time... A deep and satisfying musical experience! Now HDTT has upped the ante substantially... In DXD sound, these complex, brilliant, and moving works of musical genius are now easier to "hear into" than ever. For example, I was easily able to tell when Evans "switched roles," with Piano 1 conceding the lead voice and becoming accompaniment to Piano 2, which had become the leader. And even when Evans was "playing three pianos at the same time" by virtue of triple-taping, everything was crystalline. It was always great, and now it's greater! Thank you thank you thank you HDTT.
