This is a classic Blue note LP recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with a top notch band, add some DSD treatment and you have a winner. The piano player, Walter Bishop Jr, has been under appreciated and under recorded. 6 of 7 tunes are standards, so this is more mainstream than his later modernist discs. This remaster is a joy to enjoy.
