Ventisit Seat Cushion
I wanted a seat cushion that could help with reducing the sweat on my back. The Ventisit does feel less clammy than the full seat cushion. It is however firm. After a few rides and adding a bit of lumbar support I am getting to like the direct connection the seat gives me to the bike. I give it a 4 because it is very firm, however I would recommend this over the normal seat.

The ventisit seat was a must here in Orlando Florida during hot summer months. The seat is a bit more firm than standard but allows way more airflow behind with a cooler ride. During winter months I switch back to standard for the warmth. I like having the ability to switch easily to suit weather and my butt.

Ventisit replacement for my Quest’s worn out seat pad.
Though I needed only to replace my Quest’s seat pad—its backrest cushion had not worn out—I decided instead to install Cruzbike’s gorgeous single piece Ventisit cushion. I first carefully removed my Quest’s four narrow velcro pads, then covered all exposed screw heads with electrical tape, to limit any possible wear to the Ventisit cushion from rubbing. (I also pledged to quit dragging my feet across the seating area, though my original seat pad had still survived an impressive 40,000 miles.) The Ventisit’s two wide velcro strips were a breeze to properly align and apply without an instruction sheet. The new Ventisit’s stiffer one piece cushion has offered excellent back and bottom support, and has proven comfortable under all cycling conditions. Though the Ventisit cushion may be slightly narrower than my original two piece seat pad and backrest, that trivial difference has not mattered. In fact, the absorbent, open weave, black Ventisit looks simply stunning against my Quest’s orange seat and back supports!
