Women's Expedition Shorts

Almost Perfect Except ….

Love the padding in these shorts but I find that they are a bit too tight and too high in the waist area. I own several pairs and different types of the Pearl Izumi shorts. I prefer the older style that were a bit lower and roomier in the waist area . It was recommended that I size up (which I did), but t still found them a bit snug in the waist. I’m 5’3” and 120 lbs.

Expedition shorts

I am 5’4 and 125lbs. I usually wear a small as my last Pearl Izumi were a small. This pair I had to order a medium. The shorts were comfortable once I got the correct size. I like the pocket on the side to hold my phone.

Comfy riding

I sized up (usually a large, went with XL) and I'm glad I did. The waist is a tad loose and the thighs are a tad tight, but overall they fit well. The padding is thicker and stiffer than any I've had before, which makes for very comfortable riding. I like to keep my phone in my pocket and these shorts have great pockets. I'd give them a 5 if the waist were smaller and the thigh bigger.
