Poorly constructed
Fabric puckered where it was sown to the padding. Legs were baggy. The fit was terrible. Every other thing I have bought in the past have been good. Returned this item. It going to cost me $9 to return it

My favorite bike shorts!
These shorts are sooo comfy. The waistband stays put and even across my stomach. The stretchy pocket is great for stashing sunglasses or small snacks. The fabric is thick but soft. I love them!

Some great features but maybe not for petite riders
I have been wearing Wayfarers for a few years and love the pockets and length. I was eager to try the Grand Touring shorts as some compression would be nice. I've worn them three times, each for about 25 miles and have two complaints. The rise is too high for me as I am only 5' tall. (I will be altering it to lower them by about 1. 5 inches. ) The bigger problem is that the chamois is placed too far forward. It bunches up along my lower abdomen and does not cover my (not too large!) rear. I am in the process of removing the chamois and moving it to a better position. The Wayfarer chamois is also place too far forward but it does cover me without bunching up. I like the compression and the pockets although I think the open pockets on the Wayfarers are better. I think they will be good for longer rides when my alterations are complete.
