Mirage Shift Crème Cheek Palette

I was really surprised how cheap the top of the packaging felt. I know Samantha is so particular about packaging, the tan plastic top felt super cheap-- a stark contrast to the rest of the packaging that feels great. I think the products inside are fine, it would have been really cool to have more options to mix and match (I guess like the Salt NY), but I understand why that's not possible.

I ordered the palette in Daybreak (lightest) shades. It is stunning in every way - product color/tone, quality, packaging, ease of use. This has become my everyday palette since I received it. I purchased this palette to replace what I had run of of (from different brands), and am so glad I did - this is perfection!! I can use it with or without foundation, the tones and saturation is perfect, and the formulas blend like a dream. I plan on ordering refills when I run out and have no need for any other brand - it is that good! I will eventually purchase the cooler blush color and sincerely hope that AURIC develops additional blush colors then makes the full palette available for customization. I have also been using the Glow Lust and the Plush Ritual Lip since launch and will always repurchase - they are the best I have ever used. I had to keep the Plush Ritual Lip away from my husband - so I purchased one for him.

I really like this palette. The bronzer is a nice light neutral shade that is not orange. The blush is a really pretty shade. It goes well with my skin (light olive, yellow undertone). The highlighter is gorgeous, a really light soft shimmery color. The mixing balm is pretty neat. I haven’t seen many products like this before. I need to play with it a little bit more but it feels so smooth. I would definitely recommend. Also, it’s a pretty smart idea to have a refillable and magnetic compact like this.
