Hawaii Islands 1971 3D Raised Relief Map

I bought a 3D map of the Hawaiian islands recently and am very happy with my purchase. The map quality is amazing and looks great hanging on our wall.

Love it, but still not sure how to enjoy it

Mahalo for this beautiful 3D map. It was originally made 2 years before my mother first took me from the Mainland to visit her relatives and see the places where she was raised the summer I turned four. It's a wonderful map and brings the islands and the oceans to life with the 3D treatment. However, it comes in an unusual size, standard frames won't fit it and custom frames are expensive. I'm considering making a custom mat to fit it into a standard frame size and leave room in the margin to one side to hang family symbols, maybe a kukui nut lei, a makau (fish hook) or a design block printed on kapa cloth.

Just what I needed for my Hawaii wall!

Big fan of Muir Way and have had one of their large shadow relief maps for some time. This 3D relief is exquisite and perfect my my Hawaii wall. Good for dreaming of paradise when I’m not fortunate enough to be there.
