della Q Maker's Hat Box - Maroon

For the price, this box wasn't as well made as I hoped. The glue holding the siding on the box is already failing and the lid doesn't close properly even when nothing is inside. The latch clasp to keep it closed is more decorative than anything. This just doesn't seem to reflect the high quality Della Q is known for. But I know that JBW acquired Della Q and that this item is discontinued, so I don't expect Jimmy Beans Wool to care about me getting a poorly made product since they couldn't take the time to ensure quality in the first place. If you're considering buying this case I would make sure you're emotionally and financially prepared to fix it up yourself. That being said, the color is great, the included items like the scissors and tape measures work well and I get compliments from folks who don't see it up close. I'll give credit where it's due.
