The most beautiful plane I own

Absolutely stunning plane with excellent performance right out of the box. I’ve never bought a plane before that was this ready to use right out of the box. It was my first wedge plane and it took almost no time to learn how to set it up and adjust the blade. HNT Gordon tools are (in my opinion) some of the most beautiful hand tools to be made and I will probably not be able to stop myself from buying all of them eventually!

Amazing tool

It was definitely love at first pass with this little plane, it throws shavings so joyously on just about any timber. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the larger smoother pretty soon after giving this one a go, now saving for one of those gorgeous spokeshaves. Terry makes some of the most beautiful and functional tools I’ve seen anywhere, excited to use them for many years.
